Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team in Fallon, NV. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to our veteran patients, addressing a wide range of health issues and working to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a primary care setting, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
 - Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
 - Develop personalized care plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
 - Promote preventive health care measures and educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
 - Utilize the VA’s electronic medical record system to document patient care and track outcomes.
 - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
 - Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
 
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
 - Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
 - Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
 - Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
 - A strong commitment to providing high-quality care to veteran patients.
