U.S. Got People (USGP) is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Psychologist to join the Mental Health Department at Ellsworth Air Force Base, providing essential mental health services directly to our active duty service members.

Position Benefits:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist within the past 2 years.
  • Licensure: Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. state, territory, or jurisdiction (e.g., District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide services in accordance with APA Ethical Principles and state licensing board guidelines.
  • Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources.
  • Diagnose using the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders).
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological treatment to individuals and groups, including psychotherapy, substance abuse evaluations, and rehabilitation support.
  • Offer consultation to medical staff, commanders, legal authorities, and educational institutions as needed.
  • Attend meetings and trainings (e.g., Quality Improvement, Mental Health Flight, Commander’s staff) as a non-voting member during regular duty hours.
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation in mental health and medical records.
  • Perform psychological testing, behavioral assessments, and apply therapeutic techniques for a variety of psychological and neuropsychological conditions.
