About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Physiatrist to join our team, offering direct patient care in outpatient rehabilitation clinics. This role offers the chance to work in a multidisciplinary environment, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services across a continuum of care. It includes opportunities to work in spinal cord injury consults, sports medicine, wheeled mobility clinics, and general rehabilitation clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties: Collaborate to ensure efficient operation and exceptional care in all outpatient PM&R programs, including EMGs, Cardiac Rehab, Amputation, and Wellness Units. Deliver timely and courteous service to veterans and active-duty service members.
- Provide comprehensive care across various rehabilitation programs, including braces, wheelchairs, amputee care, cardiac rehabilitation, and more.
- Collaborate with the Polytrauma Network Sites, Amputee Network Site, Spinal Cord Injury System of Care, Electrodiagnosis Services (EMG), Rehabilitation therapies, and Interventional Pain Programs.
- Oversee clinical services, integrating core values into the rehabilitation process.
Educational Role: Partner with other staff to educate medical students, residents, and fellows in various rehabilitation medicine clinics and therapies.
- Mentor residents and fellows, contributing to medical education.
Research and Development: Lead and contribute to innovative rehabilitation research projects within the PM&R Service.
Administrative Functions: Support and promote performance improvement measures, attend key committee meetings, and help administer clinical care, teaching, and research activities in the PM&R Service.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-4:30pm
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine
- Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
- Must have completed residency in an accredited core specialty
- Board Certified in PM&R
