Physician - Interventional

POSITION TITLE:  Physician (Interventional Cardiology)

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1

POSITION DUTIES:  Evaluate patients through questions, examinations, symptom review, and medical testing. Perform exercise tests, diagnostic image tests, cardiac catheterizations.  Perform or recommend procedures including echocardiograms; Analyze patient test results. Set patient goals and discuss treatment plans. Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of patient. Develop treatment plans for medications or therapy to help patient reach goal. Prescribe medications and monitoring patient intake. Consult with surgeons on patient procedures; Document patient records and progress including symptoms, medications, and treatments. Educate patient, patients family, and relevant parties of patient progress, treatment, and future goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Position requires M.D. or D.O. (or foreign equivalent of M.D. or D.O.); Completion of Medical Residency in Internal Medicine; Completion of a Medical Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases; Completion of a Medical Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology; and Indiana Physician license.
