Vice Chair of Quality

The Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified radiologist who can also serve as the Vice Chair of Quality. The Vice Chair will provide oversight and strategic direction to the department’s section chiefs regarding patient safety and quality improvement. They will play a critical role in proactively developing clinical processes and workflows as well as optimizing operations and technology to ensure high quality patient care and to promote efficient clinical practice. This role can be assumed by a radiologist in any subspecialty with fellowship training. Must be eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.

• The Radiology team includes 96 clinical faculty radiologists, the vast majority with advanced fellowship training, 11 imaging science and medical physics faculty, 15 instructor/fellows, 45 residents, 10 advanced practice providers, and 69 support staff.
• The Department of Radiology provides post-graduate fellowships, diagnostic radiology interventional radiology, and diagnostic medical physics residency programs, and medical student elective clinical rotations.
• Access to cutting edge CT, MR and US technology with opportunities to work in collaboration with basic research scientists and a major equipment vendor in the Milwaukee metro area.
