Leadership Opportunity –Chair of Surgery
ECU Health, in partnership with The Medicus Firm Executive Search, is conducting a national search for a highly collaborative leader to serve as Chair of Surgery.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with strong leadership and surgical expertise to bring vision and energy to lead an established department of surgery.
Highlights include:
- Fully accredited magnet 974 bed tertiary referral center, part of a 9-hospital system which serves 29 counties with little to no competition.
- Approximately 27,000 operations performed annually in 23 main ORs, 6 cardiovascular ORs, and 8 outpatient Surgi-center rooms. Includes 3 DaVinci Xi robots w/ teaching consoles.
- The department comprises of 6 divisions: General and Bariatric Surgery; Pediatric Surgery; Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; Surgical Oncology; Transplant Surgery; and Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.
