- Full-time, hospital-based salaried position
- Base pay range for General Surgeon is $350,000, WRVU incentive and call stipend as well as extensive benefits package listed below
- Sign-On Bonus offered
- Reimbursement for moving expenses
- Must be able to do endoscopies and c-sections
- Workweek will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with call rotation with one other general surgeon
- Visa candidates will be accepted
- Surgical services include: orthopedic, ophthalmology, urology, general and podiatry
- Earned time may be used for vacation, holidays (6 major holidays observed by NMMC), or sick leave. We offer 25 days of earned time (eight (8) hours each) per year
- Affordable Medical & Dental Benefits available, with very low deductible
- Five (5) days continuing medical education will be provided per year and $5,000 per year for expenses associated with continuing medical education as well as up to $1,400 per year for professional dues and subscriptions
- Tax-free 403B Plan available through payroll deductions
- Short-term and long-term disability plan will be provided as well as a $50,000 Life Insurance Policy
- Complimentary hospital housing will be provided for up to 3 months based on availability
