Award-winning healthcare system and academic teaching hospital is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine physician for a leadership faculty position. The physician will be responsible for an experienced team of seven pediatric hospitalists. Manage a diverse population of pediatric inpatients in the general pediatric and adolescent wards with support of the top-notch onsite specialists. All patients are resident covered. Coverage for newborn nursery or PICU coverage is not provided.

- Ability to promote scholarship, including clinical, QI and outcomes-based research and to provide scholarly mentorship to the team.
- Combination of clinical care and resident / medical student teaching with faculty appointments to both Tufts University School of Medicine and the University of Massachusetts.
- Potential to serve as the pediatric clerkship director for Tufts and UMass students is available for those interested in a clinical educator career.
- Seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience in academic pediatric hospital medicine. Ability to demonstrate leadership skills is important. Global health interest and/ or national committee involvement is welcome.
