Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to join our expanding Department in the Inpatient Geriatric Unit. The Psychiatrist Physician is responsible for oversight of the behavioral health programs as well as for the monitoring and evaluation of quality assurance. In addition, the Physician will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment of patients.

- Experience with the largest provider of inpatient behavioral health services in eastern Massachusetts
The hospital is spending millions to open new psychiatric units in its Massachusetts hospitals, filling a gap in mental health care and marking a reversal from the recent years in which hospitals had little interest in expanding these services. They have added 40 beds for adults with mental illness or substance abuse disorders in the past nine months, and plans to expand by another 30 beds this year — a total increase of 21 percent.
