Prestigious institution seeks environmental and/or occupational health PhD or MD to assume a leadership role. This position is offered at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level through the Department of Medicine, commensurate with experience. Duties include directorship of academic and research activities, clinical activities and outreach. Supervision of human factors and the biodynamic lab is available to candidates with corresponding interest and experience. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach and mentor grad and post-grad students, medical residents and fellows as a professor in a senior leadership role.
The right candidate has an established research career and demonstrated interest in cross-disciplinary intervention integrating biological and social sciences. Experience with independent research and funding, with Principal Investigator role required. The candidate should have an over-arching interest in translating lab and research activities into improved health of the working population.
